Job description

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Regional Manager is fully responsible for all regional operations of their assigned area, including but not limited to staff management and development, emergency support, school development, and Quality Assurance.

The Regional Manager liaises among local coordinators and school personnel (teachers, faculty, counselors) to monitor, address, and help develop each international student’s academic, social, and behavioral performance inside and outside of school. The Regional Manager provides guidance to Local Coordinators and helps to resolve student issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for overall performance of their assigned area.
  • Oversee execution of operations, including homestay services, talent acquisition and staff development, host family recruitment, student recruitment support, data analysis and reporting, customer and partner communications and relations, community development, and departmental reporting and management.
  • Manage a team of direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.
  • Manage performance including KPI compliance, deliverables, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Develop and improve competency of team members.
  • Develop and maintain a solid school network in assigned area. Increase the number of partner schools with good marketability.
  • Ensure the quality of products and services.
  • Complete strategic planning and program improvements to enhance program value to stakeholders.
  • Regularly monitor, track, test, and evaluate deliverables to meet and exceed the expectations of all stakeholders.
  • Help develop and drive the execution of plans related to operations including timelines, metrics, collateral, events, documentation, education, materials, and communications.
  • Provide emergency support as needed.
  • Travel is required within this role, which includes visiting schools, students, and host families within the designated region. Other tasks as assigned.

  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or counseling youth.

  • Management experience strongly preferred.
  • Have own transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Social service or social work experience strongly preferred.
  • Marketing experience

  • Project management and/or operational planning skills.
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or counseling youth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team collaboration experience.
