About Career Prep (CP)
Career Prep is an 18+-month leadership development program that equips undergraduates to gain career-accelerating skills not taught in classrooms, cultivate personal clarity and connect with top employers for potential internships and full-time roles. Traditionally, 90%+ of Career Prep Fellows secure full-time offers by graduation.
The Opportunity
Coaches are key members of the Career Prep team with primary responsibility for successfully guiding a cohort of Fellows through the Career Prep curriculum, contributing to the development of program curriculum and seminar content, understanding job opportunities available at corporate partner organizations, and monitoring fellow progression and outcomes.
Coaches know and understand the qualities required for successful candidates to secure a top internship and career opportunities. These coaches execute our proven playbook to ensure the program delivers highly qualified candidates for corporate partner organizations. To this end, Coaches develop a keen understanding of the success profile expected in our target industries and have the ability to nurture and guide Fellows through their development of these skills and hold them accountable along the way.
An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the college internship experience, demonstrate knowledge of corporate talent requirements, high emotional intelligence, ability to hold students accountable, and build rapport with BIPOC Fellows, corporate partners, and MLT Staff. This is a remote role reporting to the Director of one of four tracks (Software Engineering / Tech; Consulting; Financial Services; Corporate Management).
