As the Regional Activations Lead, you’ll be a key driver in building strong, impactful community connections and increasing brand visibility through innovative event activations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead regional strategies for event activations, collaborating with the Activation Team Manager, Sales, Marketing, Agency, and others as required.
  • Work with key stakeholders to drive the ROI of regional and national partnerships through on-site and in-store samplings, POS (Point of Sale) activations, and other event-based initiatives.
  • Manage schedule and coordination for activations within the region, targeting key moments and strategic locations in partnership with regional stakeholders; at least 12-15 large-scale Activations per year are expected.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors, Managers, and Territory Managers to identify high-impact events and moments outside traditional activations.
  • Lead planning, staffing, and on-site management for a diverse range of activation events within the region, including marquee sponsorships, local community initiatives, and brew donations.
  • Frequent travel is required (up to 50% of the role, with 20+ events annually); mostly regional but this includes multiple national activations per year.
  • Nights and weekends are required based on event schedules; driving and travel logistics management are key responsibilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments on budget management, resource allocation, company travel, and additional activation projects as needed.
  • Maintain flexibility for changing duties as assigned, adapting to the company’s growing needs.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Director to target key moments in your region where we can drive ROI outside traditional events/samplings; 15+ executions per year expected.
  • Assist Region Territory Managers in planning and staffing for local events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align activation strategies with broader brand messaging and campaign objectives.
  • Manage other projects as needed for Athletic Brewing’s Activation initiatives. (examples include Activation asset inventory management, Internal cans in hands initiatives, etc.)

Skills and Experience:

  •  Experience:
  •        2+ years of event-related experience
  •        1+ year people or project management experience (or equivalent)
  •        Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience in regional marketing programs, community engagement programs (events, community group partnerships and activities) a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizing and managing tasks or projects within a structured, professional environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (or equivalent); ability to learn new programs quickly (examples include NetSuite, VIP and event management software)
  • Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel minimum of 1-2 weeks per month (40-50% of role) to support Activations in your region (Minimum of 15-20 Activations per year). Occasional National travel / support (3+ times per year).
  •        Must be eligible for cross country travel.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
  • Clean driving record

Job Details:

       Location: Remote within WEST (PST or MST); must be within a commutable distance to a major U.S. airport.

       Ideally based in LOS ANGELES, DENVER, SEATTLE, SAN FRANCISCO, or SALT LAKE CITY.

       Travel Required: Substantial travel is required. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 1-2 weeks per month to support Activations in your region.

       Salary: $70,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)

       Base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

       Eligible for the vehicle reimbursement program.

       This role involves significant travel, including frequent flights, driving, and extended time on-site at events.

       Many events are held outdoors, requiring the ability to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain.

       Flexibility with travel and work schedules, including nights and weekends, is essential, as is the ability to adapt to event timing and physically demanding event setups in diverse environments.

       May experience frequent changes and/or interruptions, responding to highly stressful situations requiring immediate action, independent judgment, and superior problem-solving abilities.

       Prolonged exposure to computer screens

       May sit/stand for several hours at a time.

       Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
