Job description

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will:
  • Design, develop, and implement Azure-based data solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows and deployments.
  • Automate data workflows and integrations, ensuring efficiency and reliability across the data platform.
  • Work within a DevOps team to monitor and enhance the performance, availability, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange between internal and external systems.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure services and large-scale analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and Log Analytics.
  • Expertise in CI/CD processes, ideally with Azure DevOps or GitHub for deployment and integration.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and SQL, along with knowledge of API development for seamless data integration.
  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Architect and develop data workflows, automating data pipeline processes for efficiency and error handling.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with junior and medior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure the platform’s infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and up-to-date with the latest Azure features.
