What We're Looking For

Just Right Reader is looking for an experienced Director of Product Operations to streamline and enhance the systems that support our product organization. This role involves optimizing workflows, ensuring efficient cross-functional communication, and using data to drive strategy and operations. The Director will support content development managers, assist in the creation of our product roadmap, and lead initiatives that scale our systems for future growth.

What You'll Do At Just Right Reader

  • Systems Implementation & Optimization: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of product-related systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a liaison between product, engineering, marketing, fulfillment and sales teams to ensure clear and timely communication on product developments and updates.
  • Product Data Analysis & Automation: Gather and analyze product data, build automated solutions, and create dashboards that offer insights to product teams and other stakeholders.
  • Product Roadmap Support: Assist in building and refining the product roadmap by providing data-driven insights, stakeholder alignment, and tracking milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and understand stakeholder needs to align operations and ensure smooth product development and delivery.
  • Dashboard & Reporting Creation: Develop dashboards and reports that provide product visibility across the organization, allowing for real-time tracking of product performance and progress. (2+2 = ?)
  • Support for Content Development Managers: Partner with content development managers to ensure systems and processes support efficient content creation and distribution.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years in product operations, program management, or a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of managing product systems and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data management, dashboard creation (e.g., using Tableau, Looker), and workflow automation.
  • Ability to leverage data for insights and improve operational efficiency through process optimization.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and present data insights clearly.
