Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of cybersecurity solutions spanning commercial, open-source, cloud-native, and custom-built formats.
  • Containerized cyber application development and test using DevSecOps in Git-based agile software development environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML).
  • MultiCloud-to-Edge, Edge-to-Edge node, hybrid cloud, and on-premises evaluation of cyber tools, system operations, protection of assets, and advanced networking techniques.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a degree or certification program at one of the Pennsylvania Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A) institutions. PC4A partner schools include Bucks County Community College, Butler County Community College, Montgomery County Community College, Northampton County Community College, Penn Highlands Community College, and Westmoreland County Community College.   • Candidates must be enrolled in a program relating to Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a similar discipline and have completed their freshman year.
  • Candidates must have an interest in pursuing a career within the US Department of Defense or Defense Industrial Base.
  • Candidates must have excellent organizational, communication and planning skills.
  • Candidates must have a basic understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as well as basic networking concepts and computer system fundamentals.
  • Candidates must have the ability to alternate between working independently and collaborating closely with diverse technical teams to create innovative technical solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work on a multi-disciplined team, preferably one that is involved in many areas of research, testing, and development.
  • Basic-level cybersecurity-related workforce certification such as Security+, Network+, A+, etc.
