Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, Sundance TV and WE tv; and film distribution labels IFC Films and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Director, Agency & Client Partnerships to join our digital ad sales team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage a team of Account Executives while owning your own accounts, driving revenue through execution of a unified portfolio of Linear, Digital, Advanced Advertising and Branded Content 
  • Responsible for the Agency Holding Company relationship as the go-to who will break through new relationships and drive overall growth with support from their Vice President 
  • Acquire, build, and nurture strong relationships with senior leadership at independent advertising agencies driving new business with new clients across the AMC portfolio of products 
  • Build relationships with all decision makers across client, strategy & planning teams, and the investment teams at agencies 
  • Evangelize AMC Networks to the advertising community and educate buyers on the unique value that our content delivers to viewers across all platforms 
  • Work with internal departments including P&I, Research, Integrated Marketing, and others to help the team deliver a coordinated and cohesive strategy that is presented in the market 
  • Understand customer needs and create partnership with Clients by providing Brand Solutions

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience 
  • 2-3 years of leading / managing a team
  • Deep knowledge of digital, linear and data solutions offerings and marketplace info 
  • Proven track record of strong negotiating skills and revenue development 
  • Experience in formulating and presenting complex proposals 
  • Experience in using Salesforce to manage pipeline and deal flow 
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills, high level of computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word 
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Salesforce 

The base compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Networks additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
