POSITION SUMMARY
The Channel & Content Manager will oversee and optimize the content operations of our client’s YouTube channel, a large and reputable tech brand targeting both B2C and B2B audiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless content management, drive channel growth through best practices, and bring a strategic perspective to our content distribution across platforms.
You will need to demonstrate experience in YouTube channel management, cross-platform publishing, and content strategy and optimization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Established marketing experience with several years’ experience planning and executing full-funnel omni-channel media
Extensive experience translating brand strategy into executable media approaches
Deep knowledge of media channels, full-funnel media strategy & activation, and current industry trends
Experience in highly complex, large or global organizations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage up, down, and across
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity, continuously improve ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking into your work

YouTube Channel Management
Content Organization and Categorization: Collaborate with stakeholders to organize, manage, and categorize content effectively, ensuring it aligns with both audience and brand objectives.
Scheduling and Publishing: Oversee daily scheduling of YouTube content, ensuring all video releases follow a well-planned calendar. Manage adjustments as needed based on performance insights and campaign or program goals.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track and report on key channel metrics and video performance. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization, based on analytics and YouTube best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Reporting and Insights: Develop customized reports to meet unique client requirements and provide actionable insights. Communicate performance trends, viewership behavior, and growth strategies to stakeholders regularly.
Best Practices and POV Development: Leverage expertise in YouTube best practices to provide a point of view (POV) on where content should live and why, considering platform strengths, target audience, and brand objectives.
Cross-Platform Publishing and Content Accessibility
File Management and Uploading: Manage content uploads to various client file-storing systems, ensuring content accuracy, availability, and accessibility across platforms for internal and client use.
Content Quality Assurance: Ensure all uploaded content meets brand quality standards and is optimized for YouTube's algorithm, as well as any additional organizational or client-specific requirements.
Content Strategy and Optimization
Content Optimization and SEO: Where and when possible, implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and tag management to improve searchability and channel visibility.
Content Strategy Development: Assist in developing content strategies tailored for B2C and B2B audiences, providing insight on what content will resonate most with each segment and align with broader marketing goals.
The salary range for this position is $65k minimum - $80k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
