Job description

Role: Data Test Lead
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months+
Work Hours: US EST /CST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM or India)

Must have Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry experience

Our client is looking for a resource to work with their Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to validate end-to-end scenarios – testing data from ingestion to the Warehouse through to downstream systems.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise on data quality initiatives, including data quality, integration, migration and transformation
Collaborate with business and data analysts to understand requirements, data models, and business rules
Develop comprehensive data testing strategies, plans, and test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems
Design and execute complex SQL queries and scripts to verify data integrity, transformations, and mappings
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, including data quality problems, discrepancies, and performance
Coordinate and prioritize testing activities, ensuring timely delivery and accurate defect management
