We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Senior Incident Responder to join our team. In this external, client-facing role, you will play a vital part in assisting with emergency onboardings and utilizing your security expertise to identify, detect, and promptly notify customers of security events occurring within their environment. If you excel at building connections with clients and have a strong understanding of security threats and attacks, coupled with extensive experience in technical security roles, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will DoInterface with clients to remotely onboard them onto the BlackCloak platformRespond to client inquiries, alerts, incidents, and questionsTriage cybersecurity alerts, assess the risk and deliver mitigation responsesRun network vulnerability assessment scans of client infrastructureCommunicate vulnerability and threat assessments to clientsParticipate in the Incident Response ProgramBe part of an on-call rotation and escalation teamProvide post-onboarding support to clients through periodic touch points as needed in a timely and professional mannerParticipate in knowledge transfer sessions, product training and other strategic initiatives as neededMentor and support Client Success and Security Team MembersMaintain working knowledge of BlackCloak’s solutions, platform features and best practicesThis role requires occasional time on nights and weekends to address client incidents, emergency onboardings, and issuesWhat You Need to be Successful2-5 years of experience in an infosec/cybersecurity analyst roleCollege degree in an Information Technology (IT/CS/CE) related discipline or equivalent experienceIndustry recognized information security certifications a plus:CISSP
