Job description

Salary: Starting from £45,174.15 per year

Grade: 3B

Reporting Line: Regional Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Field Based - Norfolk

Closing Date: 22nd November


Our Area Managers play a key role in supporting our Postmasters out in the field by helping them to drive commercial activity and a service that truly supports their community. You will be responsible for roughly 100 franchise and independently owned Post Offices and will require a full driving license as you spend much of your time onsite.


You will have the opportunity to build fantastic stakeholder relationships as you inspire through influence and motivate your Postmasters and forge strong relationships with the local Regional Operations team and commercial partners.

What you'll need to succeed:


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of strong relationship building skills within a retail environment. In addition you will possess:

  • Experience in operational management within retail, ideally multi-site
  • Commercially oriented with a good business acumen
  • Passion for great Customer Service and a desire to drive excellence
  • A full driving license
  • Experience working with a Franchised business model would be for benefit
