Job description

We are looking for two high-calibre individuals to join us as Programme and Student Leads on our AMIL (Academic Masters in Law), online programmes.


The programme team is particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in the following ULaw Centres of Excellence: Healthcare, Legal Technology, Energy and Environmental Law and Corporate Governance. Reporting to the National Programme and Student Affairs Director, AMIL, you will be responsible for the quality and delivery of the course at the Online Campus. This will include liaison with the National Programme and Student Affairs Director and relevant Campus Dean to manage the Campus’s contribution to the coordination and production of the design and delivery of course materials. You will also have responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of the student experience and the enhancement of student performance at the Online Campus.


As Programme and Student Lead, Online AMIL at The University of Law, you will be responsible and accountable for, inter alia:


  • Delivering a market-leading course with continuous improvement (with particular regard to relevant regulatory criteria)
  • Liaison with the Campus Dean and central teams to ensure the effective management and delivery of the course
  • Working with the relevant Academic Managers, the co-ordination of the online and Campus-based course teams to ensure the sharing of good practice, review and collaborative team engagement
  • Ensuring an outstanding quality of student experience as measured by key benchmarks


We are looking for individuals who are/have:


  • High-level collaboration, negotiation and liaison skills for the use of resources
  • Experience in leadership and management of people
  • Excellent oral and written communication Skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of legal Education
  • Experience working with external bodies for compliance, quality and validation activities.
