This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Part-time: 9 AM to 1 PM Monday to Friday

Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating our clients’ online presence across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing captivating short-form videos, crafting engaging captions, and managing social media accounts for diverse businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, hone your video editing skills, and develop strategic social media campaigns that drive meaningful interactions and build brand loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Edit and optimize video content for multiple social media platforms, focusing on short-form videos (90 seconds or less)
  • Create and schedule daily posts across various client accounts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Craft compelling captions that resonate with each client’s target audience
  • Manage and respond to comments, messages, and interactions across social platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective social media strategies for different industries
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt content accordingly
  • Assist in expanding social media presence to new platforms like TikTok
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management and content creation
  • Proficiency in video editing software, with a focus on creating engaging short-form content
  • Strong writing skills for crafting captivating captions and social media copy
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Adaptability to work with various industries and adjust content accordingly
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Willingness to use a VPN when necessary for account access
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM Eastern Standard Time
