What You Will Do
Perform experience analysis, prepare reports and/or presentation materials for various health platforms and meetings e.g. Quarterly Business Review, Health Portfolio Management meetings, In-force management meetings.
Review and setting up RGA data and experience analysis tools to increase the efficiency of producing management info reports on a regular basis.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of acquiring, validating, and onboarding data in a timely manner.
Regularly review the standard experience analysis templates for their adequacy to the SEA health business.
Monitor the health portfolio performance to trigger necessary management review and actions.
Support tracking of the management actions on timely basis to proactively manage the health business.
Maintain and update health data and treaty status logs and follow up on action items.
Drive fortnightly portfolio management meetings involving all health data users and enablers across different functions in the company.
Providing technical support to the Health Actuarial team, claims and pricing functions for data projects/ analysis that involve working with health data, as required.
Provide technical guidance to junior analyst(s).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in business, actuarial, mathematics, statistics or similar quantitative field required
3+ Years of experience in an Analytics team /Medical Reimbursement business line with insurer/reinsurer. required
Insurance industry knowledge with good understanding of medical reimbursement insurance products and business management processes. required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. required
Proficient in using statistical software like R and Python. required
Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. required
Highly motivated and strong attention to detail. required
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives. required
Advanced project facilitation skills. required
Ability to translate business needs and problems into technical solutions with limited assistance. required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and with multiple concurrent projects. required
Ability to work within a virtual office environment, including dealing with stakeholders that are not physically in the same office. required
Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal. required
