Trade Channel Manager

Role: Full time, Permanent

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits


The Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role has primary responsibility for sales and promoting activities on defined territory and in defined customer within the portfolio of Accord products; realization of set sales and marketing targets.

  • Realization of sales and marketing tasks; achievement of sales targets based on a Company’s policy in dedicated customers
  • Accountable for establishing cooperation in dedicated customers
  • Establish relationship with wholesalers, national pharmacy chains to maintain permanent contacts and business relationship
  • Accountable for launch of new SKU / molecule of strategy Accord Romania
  • Building and actualizing clients database according to all legal requirements
  • Screen and deliver information about particular products, competitors, commercial strategy and establish product portfolio bringing sustainable growth of revenues and gross margin
  • Controlling the use of company resources (funds, promotional materials, time allocation) to ensure efficiency and compliance with the objectives and procedures
  • Responsibility for ensuring the compliance of the Romanian law, Accord policies and procedures by setting a personal example, education and enforcement of required rules


The Person:

  • Min. 2 years on a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry
  • A proven track record of successful promotion of medicine products and achievement of targets set
  • An in-depth knowledge of generic drugs as well as an understanding of the therapeutic context including the competitor landscape
  • An understanding of the national and regional pharma industry
  • Key knowledge and experience in the field of sales techniques
  • Analytical approach and negotiation skills
  • Communicativeness, diplomacy, influencing and organizational skills
  • Continuously expanding product and marketing knowledge
  • Willingness to take initiative, result oriented
  • Anticipates future industry trends and opportunities, proactively develops plans to address these and communicates them to senior management
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Experienced user of MS Office, Excel in particular
  • Willingness to Travel
