What’s the scope of this role?

• Deep Technical Expertise in Telecommunications: must have a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including protocols, standards, and technologies like LTE, 5G, IP networks, and fiber optics. Experience with telecom-specific tools and platforms, like TM Forum.
• Experience with Network Management Systems: OSS involves managing large, complex networks, so knowledge of Network Management Systems (NMS), including fault, configuration, performance, and security management, is crucial.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards and Frameworks: Understanding industry standards, such as ITU-T, ETSI, or 3GPP, helps ensure compliance with regulatory and technological guidelines. Familiarity with TM Forum’s Open APIs and frameworks is beneficial for designing scalable and interoperable systems.
• Experience with Cloud and Virtualization Technologies: cloud-native and software-defined networks, expertise in cloud platforms, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).

• Python (simple scripting)
• Go (is a major benefit)
• Data serialization formats: YAML, JSON, XML
• Kubernetes: namespaces, workload types, networking and storage
• Git (gitlab)
• SQL and relational databases
• no-SQL databases
• YANG (nice to have)
• JavaScript, Groovy (nice to have)
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ (nice to have)
• Technical analysis and design for feature implementation (sequence, relation and class diagrams)
• Understanding of agile methodologies
