Key Responsibilities

• Market Connectivity Development: Design, develop, and maintain connectivity solutions to multiple financial exchanges, utilizing exchange protocols such as FIX, SBE, OMNet, and ITCH.
• Low-Latency Programming: Implement high-performance, low-latency solutions to process market data, manage order routing, and ensure rapid trade execution, adhering to industry standards.
• Network Protocols: Work with network protocols to handle data packets efficiently, ensuring minimal latency and high reliability for critical trading activities.
• Data Consistency: Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems, implementing checks and monitoring mechanisms to handle complex, high-throughput data streams.
• System Optimization & Performance Tuning: Profile, analyze, and tune system performance, identifying bottlenecks and enhancing code efficiency to achieve ultra-low latency.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate closely with other developers, QA engineers, and product managers to align with business requirements and deliver robust connectivity solutions.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Document code, architecture, and design decisions thoroughly, ensuring adherence to best practices in trading technology.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced/Fluent English communication.
• 6+ years of experience in C++ development, particularly in low-latency or high-performance computing environments.
• Expertise in C++ (preferably C++11/14/17) with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
• Experience in low-latency programming and performance tuning, including multithreading and concurrency.
• Proficiency in network programming and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) for real-time data processing.
• Demonstrated experience with exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, SBE, OMNet, ITCH) and understanding of trading systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment.
• Desirable: Familiarity with Linux, scripting languages (Python, Bash), and financial markets is advantageous.
