Manager Of Accounting
The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing and presenting financial statements for Specialty Pharmacy Services monthly and serves as the primary point of contact for the business unit leader/stakeholder managing SOX and internal audit requests as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the integrity of general ledgers.
- Coordinates the completion of balance sheet account analysis.
- Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries into the general ledger.
- Manages tasks associated with the general ledger (i.e. enter monthly journal entries, execute monthly closing entries, execute month-end general ledger).
- Reviews monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss statements.
- Prepares FLUX Reporting for Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy business unit.
- Coordinates monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.
- Assists in reviewing and updating monthly closing procedures.
- Participates in the completion and issuance of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements/reports.
- Subsidiary Schedules: Reviews supporting schedules to ensure that the Company's accounting practices are being maintained (i.e. insurance, fixed assets, amortization of prepayments, etc.), and makes recommendations where applicable.
- Applications, database, spreadsheets, and word processing required. Proficiency in Excel preferred. Proficiency in Excel required, NetSute experience preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5+ years of experience in an Accounting supervisory or management role required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA preferred
- Accounting experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software preferred.
