Job description

As the Director, Infrastructure Services, you will lead the Global IT Infrastructure Engineering and Operations organizations, including: Systems, Cloud, Database, Storage, Network, Voice, Datacenter, AS400, Voice, M365, and some Security. This position is responsible for providing direction and strategy for our corporate and retail infrastructure. The role manages the delivery and operations of global Infrastructure, including: solution selection, design, implementation, and operational administration.

•Provides direction and strategy for the Global Infrastructure Services organization
•Responsible for engineering solutions for Claire's corporate and retail IT infrastructure worldwide, including: Systems, Cloud, Database, Storage, Network, Voice, Datacenter, AS400, Voice, M365, and Security
•Responsible for end-to-end solutions, delivery, and operations of global corporate Infrastructure, including the associated capital and operational budgets, with a team of FTEs, contractors, vendors, and managed service providers
•Manages vendors, including: vendor selection, reviewing and negotiating contracts, vendor engagement, ensuring deliverables are met
•Manages a team responsible for architecting solutions with best standards and practices, including: scalability, high-performance, security, high-availability, and reliability that meet business requirements.  
•Responsible for overseeing 24/7/365 operations for the global corporate infrastructure, including: monitoring, alert response, and uptime
•Manage Corporate Infrastructure outages and incidents, including: communicating to stakeholders, forming/leading/managing major incident calls, engage associated vendors and teams, regularly informed leadership of updates
•Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and vendor partners
•Create and deliver OKRs, SLAs, KPIs, issue tracking, and project updates to Sr. leadership
•Oversee change, incident, request, and problem management within the team
•Plan and track Infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and in budget 
•Optimize processes and proactively seek opportunities for improvement and savings
•Familiar with SoPs, runbooks, project plans, troubleshooting guides, policies and procedures, HLDs, and LLDs
•Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
•Participate in research of technology solutions in support of new initiatives
•Responsible for lifecycle management, including: maintenance contracts and licensing, total cost of ownership, and inventory control of all Infrastructure assets across the datacenter and cloud ecosystems
•Build high-performing, cross-functional teams through the development of individual team members and by recruiting, hiring, managing, and mentoring engineers

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience preferred
•10+ years hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure Services, serving multiple domains, including: network and systems
•5+ years in a leadership role with increasing responsibilities
•Experience managing teams responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and operating large-scale and complex infrastructure, including: systems, storage, virtualization, databases, network, voice, and/or cloud.
•Strong prioritization, organization, and management skills; ability to efficiently manage a team and a variety of concurrent projects.
•Track record of effective technical leadership which includes strong strategic thinking and successful project execution with technical and business resources.
•Experience managing and troubleshooting IP-based infrastructure built around high-availability, redundancy, and convergence.
•Familiar with the latest Infrastructure technologies and methodologies, including the associated best standards and practices and minimum security standards
•Experience managing complex, multi-million $$$ budgets
•Exposure with contract creation, negotiation, and delivery

Compensation Range: $109,720.00 - $156,000.00

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
