Job Summary
Data & Analytics Engineer IV is responsible for designing and building data systems that collect and organize data at scale, supporting both operational and analytical use cases. Data Engineer IV should have in-depth knowledge of Dimensional and operational modeling principles which they can apply towards designing optimal data models. Additionally, we believe Data & Analytics Engineer should be well versed with:
- Building architecture which align with business requirements
- Develop patterns enabling data acquisition across disparate technologies
- Organize and Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
- Support ongoing data strategy work, deliver data models, and document data reference architectures that enhance project delivery ranging from transactional systems to reporting and analytic solutions.
- Planning end-to-end data structures for analysis and consumption
- Identifying ways to improve data observability, reliability, efficiency, interoperability and most importantly quality
- Builds Data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes
- Build CI/CD pipelines that are equipped to deploy sophisticated data pipelines, analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
- Applies data Privacy & security principles do their daily work
- Understands principles of Data Privacy, Security. Concepts such as data masking/ anonymization, ACLs, coarse grain access control, fine grained access control, and attribute based access controls.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
- 8+ years of engineering, architecture, and delivery experience in Data
- 3+ years of experience in developing data models and analytical solutions
- 5+ years Developing in Power BI and/or Microsoft fabric
- 3+ years developing complex DAX queries
- 3 + years developing in Databricks
- Proficient working experience in Microsoft Azure.
- Skilled in developing data solutions using Python and Spark.
- Possesses project experience in developing NoSQL solutions
- Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others)
- Can effectively present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to work in an Agile Team environment.
- Experience with Insurance data domains
- Highly preferred: Experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Exposure to REST APIs. Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Graph methodologies and approaches

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Salary Range:
$125,500.00 - $213,250.00
