Position Overview: Calling all Builders, Inventors, and Creators! The Stanley Sales Team is growing, and we are looking for a strategic thinker with a creative spirit, an inventive mind, and a passion to help us expand our brand and tell our legendary story.


This is a remote position with the option of be based in the following states only: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin.

 

The Senior Manager of Special Markets will play a critical role in driving the strategy for our premium promotional business and managing operations that support our strategic sport partnerships. In this role you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key customers, enhance strategic planning, prospect and cultivate relationships with new customers that unlock incremental growth. You will also explore innovative product offerings that support our growth goals in the channel while constantly analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to ensure Stanley remains ahead of industry trends. This role will also work closely with the National Sales Director of Sport and Custom to execute commercial opportunities within our sport partnerships and licensing. You will also help develop a best-in-class customer support system for our suppliers and partners, streamline order processes, and collaborate with supply chain and logistics to align operations with our goals and customers' needs.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a best-in-class operation in the premium promo space.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with key customers and suppliers, while cultivating new business opportunities and identifying incremental product offerings to drive growth.
  3. Lead collaboration efforts with Sales, Order Support, Demand Planning, and Operations teams to manage and execute co-branded, custom-logo projects.
  4. Develop and implement a streamlined customer support system to enhance the experience for both suppliers and partners.
  5. Develop a data-lead strategy to identify gaps in our current strategy 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Develop and execute a strategic plan for our premium promotional business, with a focus on relationship-building, market expansion, and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Supplier & Customer Relations: Prospect, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to expand our offerings and enhance our B2B partnerships.
  • Innovation and Growth: Identify new product offerings to bring incremental growth to the channel, exploring opportunities that align with Stanley's brand and customer needs.
  • Licensing and Partnerships: Support licensing opportunities within sports and manage operational aspects of strategic sport partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values and business goals.
  • Communication & Coordination: Coordinate with Order Support teams to keep B2B customers and Sales Leaders updated on project status. Provide regular status updates and prioritize communication to maintain a seamless order process.
  • Demand and Forecast Alignment: Monitor and manage order flow to align with demand and forecast expectations, working closely with supply chain and logistics.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience including 3+ years in a senior role managing complex sales operations. Experience in the promotional products or corporate gifting industry and knowledge of customization processes (e.g., artwork proofing, laser etching) is a plus.
  • Strategic Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive growth through new business opportunities.
  • Customer Support Expertise: Demonstrated experience in creating customer support frameworks that enhance supplier and partner relationships.
  • Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and demand planning to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Elastic B2B or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and project a professional image across communication channels.

 

Compensation

$140,000-160,000 annually

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
