Job Description Summary As the Project Quality Specialist you will be responsible to drive quality compliance within the Project Management Execution. Here you will be responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function also develop and monitor the CAPA (Corrective And Preventive Actions), perform Quality Audits and support Continuous Improvement for GSI, executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for centralized quality assurance and control activities for a given project or group of projects at customer site.
  • Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Support the development of the Quality Culture on requirement management, Customer Complaint management, Non-conformity management and align with Global instructions.
  • Work with team members to find creative solutions to address complex problems
  • Ability to travel to support team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineer, 2+ years related work experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Experience with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem solving, continuous improvement, lean, and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and implement complex influencing/negotiating strategies at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in Alternating Current Substation Projects

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong desire to learn and keep updated on regulations and standards.
  • Leadership skills to support Process Adherence at all functions.
  • Experience in Quality Site Execution for Alternative Current Substation
  • Knowledge Circuit Breakers, High / Medium Voltage Transformers, Disconnectors
