Job description

This is a remote position.


● Understand the existing product, development and deployment processes

● Work with the QA team to implement the testing process into the development lifecycle

● Develop test cases and test-related documents for existing codebase

● Test case writing for new development

● Help to measure and monitor quality parameters and ensure standards are met

● Research and recommend the right tools, products or services to be used for both manual and automated tests

● Implement test plans, test scripts, and process plans for the different applications (desktop web, mobile web, cross platform mobile apps)

● Assist development team to troubleshoot issues

● Perform regression and conduct post-release sanity checks

● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements

● Should have basic understanding of web applications, mobile apps and APIs

● Should have extensive experience in manual testing of applications on web browsers, Flutter apps, and PWAs (progressive web apps)

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Experience creating automated tests for web browsers, Flutter apps, and PWAs (progressive web apps) is a bonus

● Experience in working with complex software products running multiple tech stacks and a distributed architecture is a bonus

● Experience creating test scripts for native Android and iOS apps is a bonus. Keep in mind the role includes working on cross-platform Flutter apps.

● Experience in working as part of a QA team

● Experience in finding, reporting and documenting bugs and issues in applications

● Should have experience in manual testing for at least 1 year (internships not counted)

● Experience in automated testing is a bonus

● Strong verbal and written communication skills
