We are looking for an AWS Cloud Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role you will collaborate with senior experts responsible for the integration and operation of a Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure. The work of this team helps to ensure the integrity, efficiency and excellence of our IT systems so people can effortlessly leverage technology to do their work and do it well.
What you'll do here:
Coach and manage Tenants in running Cloud Native solutions.
Ensure an appropriate level of reliability of technology, operating systems to meet current and future business needs.
Participate in technical implementation of large, complex AWS transformations and modernization projects.
Provision all Cloud resources using Terraform Cloud.
Strictly maintain team standards to ensure continuity of operations.
Develop, implement, support and document automation to increase the efficiency of platform management.
Take charge of change requests (RFCs), service requests, problem solving and incidents.
Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
Collaborate with managers to develop standards in line with the company guidelines and monitor those standards.
Implement best cloud computing practices and assist in accelerating cloud adoption.
Document the various activities and procedures according to established standards.
Requirements :
3+ years experience with AWS Cloud solutions and multiple AWS services
Knowledge in Automation such as Terraform Cloud, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with Agile software development and release engineering (branching, versioning, tagging) with tools such as GitHub.
Knowledge of DevOps practices
Customer service focused and portrayed energy, professionalism and welcoming characteristics
Can identify issues and help develop strategy and tactical plans for various department initiatives
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent documentation and communication skills
AWS certification(s) is a must
Be available for on-call support (Rotation).
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
