ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This is a tipped position!
Server
- Greets guests, presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drink, and/or service
- Relays order to kitchen and serves courses, ensuring the orders are correct when delivered
- Observes patrons to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal/drinks have been completed
- Runs check through Point of Sale system and accepts payment
- Assists in clearing and resetting tables at the conclusion of service
Bartender/Food Runner
- Assists in greeting guests and making them feel welcome
- Displays pleasant attitude towards guests and other employees at all times.
- Checks on tables and assists in delivering orders from kitchen
- Transports dirty dishes from front of house area to the back of house
- Sanitizes tables and chairs when tables have been vacated
- Restocks supplies as needed; ie. cups, dishes, silverware, napkins, etc.
- RAMP certification is required on the first day of employment.
Line Cook/Food Prep
- Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked.
- Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions; verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
- Multi tasks by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with customer instructions.
- Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers.
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
Dishwasher
- Operate a commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes, and running the equipment properly.
- Scrub pots and pans and wash any other dishes that cannot be put in the dishwasher
- Keep kitchen floors clean and safe.
- Keep all kitchen work areas clean and safe.
- Take out garbage, trash, boxes, etc.
Other
- Take accountability for all guest complaints & make sure problem is rectified, reporting all problems to Rod & Range Club management
- Responsible for menu development for food/menu cost analysis
- Responsible for placing all requisitions(orders) to warehouse for food items, chemicals, liquors, & paper
- Is responsible for helping other kitchen associates in completing all projects issued by Rod & Range Club Management
- Organize your day for maximum productivity
- Project future business needs in relation to volume and special requirements
- Always maintain a positive attitude toward fellow associates, management, & ownership
- Pick up orders as necessary
- Learn proper potential food poisoning case procedures
- Know all PA state liquor law and statutes, enforce those laws and statutes
- Know safe food handling procedures, correct any violations and notify management
- Open and close all areas at appropriate set times
- Other duties as assigned
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain a 5 star attitude and work ethic on a daily basis. Full knowledge of all stations in the kitchen.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD:
- Must be able to support the operation by assisting in all responsibilities by regular lifting trays, boxes, kegs, ect. That weigh up to 50 lbs. Must be able to handle busy, stressful situation and to multi-task.
