Job description

Air Liquide is looking for a Benefits Manager to join the Europe Africa Middle East India Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) with the accountability to drive, oversee, communicate, and implement benefits and pension programmes throughout the organization. More particularly, the Benefits Manager will have a direct focus for the French perimeter (12,500 headcount - 40+ Legal entities) to lead and implement the harmonization of the Benefits programs in place and drive their day to day management, within a frame of a Group Employee Benefits captive implementation. This key leadership position requires strategic thinking and will play a crucial role in enhancing our employee value proposition and fostering a positive and caring workplace culture.
Located in Paris you will report to the Head of Total Rewards COE of the Region.


 

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

Within the CoE Total Rewards you will be in charge to:

  • Lead the Benefits transformation and be the owner of the Benefits policies and governance of the perimeter

  • Ensure our Benefits practices are aligned with external market

  • Simplify / harmonize of the Benefits catalog 

  • Manage and oversee our Benefits providers, and ensure they deliver an high level of quality and service

  • Implement the Benefits operational management with our Business Service Center

  • Leverage Benefits tools and technologies

  • Lead Ad hoc projects & services: As examples Life plan reshaping to ensure a balanced loss ratio, pension plan regulation updates,  regular Benefits claims advice, Employee Assistance Program implementation

  • Lead the Company Savings plan management (“Plan d’Epargne Entreprise”) harmonization and simplification for the perimeter

  • Support to the Group Benefits initiative implementation (minimal care coverage)

  • Interact with the HR Business Partners to review and improve the local policies and be the single point of contact

  • Support with the Labor Relations organization the communication and negotiations with the Unions and the Employee Benefits Committees where appropriate

Are you a MATCH?


 

Graduated of a University Degree level education or equivalent, you have more than 10 years in the HR field and at least 5 years in the benefits arena in a large multinational organization.

During this experience, you get a depth knowledge of group employee benefits insurance products and pension.

You have been proven excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

You demonstrate an analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision making.

You already had to navigate in a matrix environment. 

Finally you are fluent in English and French.
