Seqera exists to advance science for everyone through software

We provide software for scientists solving today's most complex and important challenges from pioneering innovative therapeutics to unveiling the secrets of our universe. The journey began a decade ago with Nextflow — open software that helps over 100,000 global scientists analyze and process data, with more power and flexibility than ever before.

Today, Seqera consolidates fragmented data and diverse computing resources into a unified platform. Our modern biotech stack is trusted by over 150 leading life sciences organizations. Empowered with modern software engineering, organizations conduct science faster, on larger datasets, and with more confidence. Seqera accelerates discoveries in an open world.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to drive impactful growth across our demand generation and marketing programs. This role is key to accelerating our growth engine by owning and optimizing the strategy, execution, and performance of initiatives across one or more funnel stages.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our performance marketing approach, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet key KPIs, and ensuring alignment with our go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

As a performance marketing leader, you’ll develop and manage high-impact campaigns that span acquisition, conversion, and acceleration. You’ll bring expertise in growth marketing, including account-based marketing (ABM), paid advertising, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing, to refine our funnel strategies and scale our reach. Working alongside sales and revenue operations, you’ll ensure alignment in driving pipeline progression, funnel conversion, and revenue growth. Your analytical mindset will help forecast, measure, and report on the effectiveness of our demand generation programs, ensuring they drive meaningful impact on the sales pipeline and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Funnel Stage Ownership: Lead the strategy and execution for one or more funnel stages (acquisition, conversion, acceleration) and define KPIs for each.

  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute multi-channel programs to drive key KPIs in alignment with growth marketing, marketing operations, events, and field marketing teams.

  • Budget Management: Oversee budgets for both evergreen and one-off programs, handling planning, procurement, and vendor renewals with finance.

  • Sales Alignment: Act as the key liaison between marketing and sales to ensure optimal funnel conversion, pipeline progression, and lead routing.

  • Data-Driven Analysis: Partner with marketing and revenue operations teams to ensure detailed tracking and analysis of program performance.

  • Demand Generation: Drive new business acquisition and cross-sell strategies, with accountability for meeting pipeline and growth targets.

  • Reporting & Forecasting: Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand generation programs on sales pipeline, revenue, and deal cycle duration.

  • Team Management & Mentorship: Mentor and advise junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

About you

  • You are motivated by helping others succeed. When things break - and they will - you are eager and able to help fix things. You like thinking of ways to improve efficiency or bring delight to the people you work with.

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B growth or performance marketing, preferably in the software industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs.

  • Proficiency with marketing technology stacks, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

  • Proven success across multiple growth marketing areas, including ABM, technical SEO, email, paid media, content marketing, lifecycle, and web optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple parallel projects while staying on budget and within timelines.

  • Strong, thoughtful, and effective communicator, both in 1:1 settings and within the larger team/company.
