POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for growing the consumer business by developing relationships with customers and increasing revenue growth. As a member of the consumer team, you will be responsible for pursuing and documenting all leads received through a variety of channels. Minimum quotas will be established and must be achieved consistently. Must possess a thorough understanding of all Uniworld products and policies. Provides information, support, advice, and service on all aspects of travel products while maintaining required performance standards.


This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in California.


Requirements


KEY RESULT AREAS & ACTIVITIES PERFORMED


KRA – Consumer Sales:

  • Generates sales opportunities through various channels of customer contact such as inbound & outbound call follow-up and emails with leads.
  • Provide information to Guests for the purpose of promoting products and securing new reservations.
  • Attends incoming contacts and matches products to customer's needs, ensures accuracy in every aspect of each customer transaction and identifies, researches, and resolves issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Leverage strong customer service and sales skills to maximize sales opportunities on each customer contact.
  • Learn, improve, and leverage software applications to efficiently process customer transactions.
  • Responsible for high volume, inbound calls, and outbound dialing campaigns


KRA – Customer Service:

  • Manage incoming calls involving routine client pre-departure inquiries on existing reservations. troubleshoot, research, and respond to pre departure inquiries from our guests.
  • Responsible for responding to clients’ needs and requests in a timely manner, i.e. returning calls, answering e-mails, and following through on pending issues as it pertains to the booking process.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with customers from the beginning of the lead through post-tour follow-up. to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer support abilities.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of travel industry or Call Center experience in a sales capacity.

Pay Range

  • $18 / hour + incentive
