Job description

This is a remote position.

Scope

  • Full-time role
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am-6pm Eastern Time (10am - 7pm Manila Time)
  • Includes 1hr unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger postings.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor budgets and expenses to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and standards.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and reporting processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
