Azure Data Engineer

Who You Are and What You'll Do: 

Capstone Integrated Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Azure Data Engineer with experience in Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) integration and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong foundation in data technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a knack for translating business requirements into impactful data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using the Azure ETL stack (Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Key Vaults) and various ETL technologies (ADF, BODS, Informatica).
• Integrate and analyze data from Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for marketing insights and campaign performance tracking.
• Perform data modeling and create efficient database designs for scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Utilize Snowflake to perform foundational data operations and ensure seamless data integration across platforms.
• Employ CI/CD practices within a DevOps environment to streamline data processes and support agile development workflows.
• Implement Azure Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics, delivering actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and business intelligence, to meet data needs and business objectives.
• Support the development of data visualization solutions with Tableau and PowerBI to enable data-driven decision-making (preferred).
• Work in an agile environment to prioritize work aligned with business impact and project timelines.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on SQL scripting and the Azure ETL stack.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and data modeling.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT technologies, including ADF, BODS, and Informatica.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices within data engineering workflows.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and data analysis integration with AMC for marketing insights.
• Knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) integration, specifically for marketing performance data and insights.
• Exposure to Python and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
