Job Title: Software Renewal Specialist
Job Overview:
As a Software Renewal Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless renewal of our
service contracts and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will work closely with the sales
team and various departments to track and update service contracts, create, and manage renewal
opportunities, and facilitate account activations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent
graduates to develop their skills in CRM management, sales support, and customer service within a
dynamic software environment.
Key Responsibilities:
o Track and update service contracts in our CRM database, Salesforce.
o Create and manage renewal opportunities in Salesforce to ensure timely renewals.
o Provide support to the sales team for renewal opportunities, including:
Notifying the team when an upcoming renewal is due.
Providing accurate sales data and insights necessary for renewing contracts.
o Create and manage customer accounts in the CRM.
o Activate data plans and serve as a general contact for customers within the connectivity
services product line.
o Generate reports on renewal status, potential risks, and customer feedback to support
strategic decision-making.
o Ensure the company is not losing renewals and revenue related to software.
o Provide exceptional support to clients throughout the renewal process, aiming to
enhance overall customer satisfaction and retention.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth
renewal processes.
o Ensure the customer support team has all relevant information to processes purchase
orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Basic understanding of software and service contract management.
Experience in a customer-facing role or in sales support is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
