Podcast Editor | Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Proficiency

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Edit podcast episodes, removing filler words and enhancing audio quality
  

• Apply EQ and compression to improve overall sound
  

• Integrate intros, outros, and additional audio elements into episodes
  

• Manage multiple audio files and combine them coherently
  

• Meet deadlines for weekly and bi-weekly podcast releases
  

• Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members
  

• Adhere to client-specific editing guidelines and best practices
  

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic, Audacity, or Adobe software
  

• Basic understanding of audio processing techniques, including EQ and compression
  

• Fluency in English (speaking and comprehension)
  

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  

• Reliable high-speed internet connection for file transfers
  

• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
  

Scope:

• Edit approximately five audio files per day
  

• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of edited content
  

• Participate in training sessions to learn company-specific workflows and best practices
  

• Potential for expanded responsibilities based on performance and company needs
  

• Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM CST with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
