JOB SUMMARY:

We currently have two open Account Manager positions focused on specific vertical markets: one dedicated to the Healthcare sector and the other to the Academic/Education sector.  Each Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business within their assigned vertical by building relationships and establishing LION as a leading voice in fire safety training.  This role is ideal for resourceful, digitally savvy sales professionals with expertise in these industries who excel at social selling and have a passion for using advanced sales tools to drive engagement and growth in their market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Expand Market Presence: Develop new business within the assigned vertical (Healthcare or Academic/Education) by proactively identifying prospects, leveraging social selling techniques, and nurturing relationships through strategic outreach. Utilize a blend of traditional sales methods and digital networking to increase LION’s market penetration and establish a trusted presence within the specific industry.
  • Establish a Strong Presence: Establish a strong presence in the Healthcare or Academic/Education sector by engaging with customers and educating the market on fire safety training, positioning yourself as a trusted expert within your vertical.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Use solution-based selling to understand each customer’s unique needs, providing insights that position LION as the preferred choice for fire safety solutions in healthcare and education environments.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts and share relevant market trends to assist with product positioning and business development within the Healthcare and Academic/Education sectors.
  • Continuous Learning & Tool Adoption: Stay up-to-date with emerging sales technologies, including AI-driven tools, to maintain a competitive edge in sales outreach and customer engagement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the Healthcare or Academic/Education sectors, with a strong track record in consultative or solution-based selling.
  • Proven experience in social selling and digital networking, with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Digital proficiency, with a strong understanding of online sales tools and a commitment to using technology to enhance sales productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an aptitude for creating engaging social content and thought leadership specific to healthcare and education.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers within the Healthcare and Academic/Education markets.

RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS:

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Sales Leadership, Marketing, and the broader sales team to align strategies and drive impactful customer engagements.
  • Engage regularly with key decision-makers and influencers within the Healthcare or Academic/Education verticals.
