What you’ll do

The Key Account Executive will be responsible for building strategic accounts for Rare Disease business by maximizing resource across brands, executing key account plan, enhancing customer engagement and partnership with AstraZeneca to deliver expedited growth.

This role reports to the Franchise Head, Rare Disease.

Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Engages KOLs in dialogue to promote effectively the knowledge about rare disease medicines value proposition, benefits of approved indications, product efficacy / safety profiles and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients, using science-driven balanced messages and the appropriate mix of tools and channels

  • Develop and execute tailored-made key account plans and activities to selected top accounts

  • Develops and shares stakeholder insight and information between different respiratory brand and teams to maximize resources for growth, strengthen brand positioning, promotional efforts, access to treatment etc.

  • As a lead coordinator in the selected top accounts to leverage best practice and experience among teams

  • Establishes and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with relevant key KOLs and other stakeholders, keeping patients’ needs at the centre of all conversations

  • Organizes workshops and other educational events to facilitate knowledge sharing among relevant KOLs

  • Works with Franchise Head to develop and implement a strategy and actions to meet promotional objectives

  • Demonstrate business ethics, ensure all activities and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with the high standards of ethics and integrity

  • Other duties within position’s scope, as assigned by line Manager

Essential for the role

  • University graduate in any discipline, with a preference to Science or business background

  • At least 3 years with relevant TA experience in managing key accounts in previous and current districts, proven track record of engaging and developing lasting relationships with key accounts

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive and solution oriented

  • Strong analytical skills

  • MS office skill

  • Fluency in English and Cantonese
