This role offers an agile 3,2 working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home/this role is based in the office 5 days a week. 

 

This role is structured as Chiswick Park with a fully remote working pattern, meaning you are remote based, but your office location is Chiswick Park where you will need to travel into for key business meetings.  

 

What will this role achieve?  

 

This role will oversee the activation of the performance talent cycles across the UKI region working in close partnership with the HR Business Partners across the region to bring to life the cyclical process and best in class initiatives to drive ahead our focus on growth and transformation. Working in collaboration with the wider Talent Centre of Excellence (Talent Acquisition and L&D) the role will focus on enhancing manager capability, using data to analyse and create insight as well as utilise a growth mindset to identify opportunities to enhance the pladis talent agenda. The role holder will also play a central role in the programme management of our talent development initiatives across emerging talent and high potential programmes. 

 

What will be your key deliverables?  

 

  • Performance and Talent cycle – Working in collaboration with the global teams activate and implement the pladis globally aligned processes across the UKI region ensuring HR and leadership engagement. Develop tools and training to enhance local implementation and enhance performance management culture. 

  • Talent and succession planning – active management on talent actions in collaboration with the HR Business Partners to drive momentum and future proofing activities 

  • Talent programmes – working in collaboration with the wider Talent Centre of Excellence to design and deliver talent initiatives to support the pladis brand and regional agenda (e.g. emerging talent and high potential programmes) 

  • Data & Analytics – Using both internal and external data to track talent and performance trends. Use insight to inform broader HR strategy and leadership engagement on priority focuses. 

  • Inclusive workplace - Support broader EVP and IDE agendas through embedding our pladis values across our moments that matter in the talent space 

Bring your experience.  

Essential 

  • Understanding of the end-to-end talent and performance cycle (in a Talent or HR Generalist role) 

  • Curiosity – Growth mindset continuously looking for opportunities to improve the status quo 

  • Insights driven – Comfortable working with data to analyse and build insight 

  • Collaboration and influence - Experience working in a global / matrixed organisation 

  • Agile and Resilience – ability to work at pace to adapt to changing priorities to support changing commercial needs 

  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving with ability to identify and implement continuous improvements 

  • Comfortable navigating data, joining the dots and drawing insights to inform decisions 

 

Desirable  

 

  • Similar experience in a talent or performance focused role in a commercially led organisation 

  • Workday system understanding 

  • Emerging Talent programme management 

  • FMCG experience 

 

What will the interview process be?  

 

  • 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences. 

  • 2nd stage interview – 60 minutes – presentation and interview.  

 

pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.
