About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a specialty in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) to join our team. This role will allow you to leverage your SMSF expertise within a dynamic public practice environment, offering significant career growth opportunities and a supportive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, compliance, and financial reporting for SMSFs, ensuring adherence to Australian regulations.
  • Prepare and review annual financial statements, complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns and regulatory requirements for clients.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in SMSF processes and compliance.
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years in Australian public practice accounting, with substantial SMSF experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero and Class Super.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
