The Position
We are looking for a Senior Consolidation Reporting Analyst for our Group Finance team to work together on different initiatives related to accounting and consolidation by focusing on process improvement and implementation.

This is a temporary role intended to cover maternity leave, with an immediate start required. Ideal for candidates seeking impactful, short-term assignments.


Responsibilities
  • Support  financial statements consolidation in line with SP GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS 
  • Conduct technical discussions with the external auditors
  • Support trend and gap analysis and develop and implement process improvements based on the analysis performed
  • Evaluate the impact of business changes and new policies on local GAAP vs. IFRS financial statements
  • Draft and update work-related documentation and accounting guidelines
  • Provide support to external and internal audit teams, as required, in connection with UK GAAP, IFRS consolidation year-end audit, controls testing and any other ad-hoc audit queries
  • Take initiative and actively participate in optimization projects on the various processes and for the various regions in the Group

  • You have…
  • At least 3-5 years of previous experience in a Big 4, auditing Tech companies, scale-ups, and publicly listed entities
  • At least 3 years of experience as a consolidation analyst or senior analyst
  • Technical knowledge and experience in preparing consolidation of financial statements, consolidation adjustments and having worked in an HQ/Group function of large companies
  • Previous involvement in an annual group audit
  • Preparation of external reporting and consolidated annual accounts
  • Strong Excel skills and finance system skills
  • Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS
  • Full fluency in English is a must

  • Experience leading teams and participating in cross-functional projects
  • Experienced using ERP systems (Netsuite preferable, but not essential)
