Role Value Proposition
Responsible for daily administration and policy support for Group Billing and Remittance. Processes transactions timely and maintains accurate policy records including eligibility data.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced level subject matter expert who exercises discretion and independent judgment in the work completed.
- Maintains data in the administrative systems; troubleshoots and corrects data issues. Works various transaction error reports and queues.
- Provides technical expertise to management for decision making by participating in operational analyses and studies.
- Acts as subject matter expert on individual contract provisions; establishes, maintains, and enhances favorable relationships with internal and external customers, plan participants, beneficiaries, attorneys, etc.
- Handles escalated calls/cases from other teams. Has authority to deviate from standard procedures and can make independent decisions without supervisor approval.
- Participate on customer calls/meetings to explain process/procedures and resolve issues.
- Calculates/Reviews credit and fee payments to Regional Market customers following established guidelines/processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Business Experience And Technical Skills
Required:
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and relationship skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle pressure situations (internal and external) with professionalism and tack.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Kn owledge of eligibility and enrollment processes
- College degree or 3-5 years related business experience

The salary range for applicants for this position is 45,200 to 60,300.
