Perficient is seeking a talented Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Salesforce Practice. This is a remote position, allowing candidates to live anywhere in the US. The hours for the role are typically central or eastern.

Responsibilities
- Copado Expertise:
- Proficient in using Copado to manage Salesforce releases, code quality, and change management.
- Deep understanding of Copado's features, best practices, and integration with Salesforce.
- Experience configuring and customizing Copado to meet specific project requirements.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using Copado and potentially other tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipeline failures, conflicts, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to pipeline standards and best practices.
- Release Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce releases across multiple environments.
- Manage release dependencies, dependencies, and communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire release process, from development to production deployment.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Effectively manage and resolve conflicts that arise during the release process, including merge conflicts and dependency issues.
- Implement strategies to prevent and minimize conflicts.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce deployments, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide timely support to development teams and troubleshoot their issues.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Implement automation and best practices to streamline processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and Salesforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Release Manager in a Salesforce environment.
- Proven expertise in Copado and Salesforce development.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
- Experience working with multiple development teams and managing complex release schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of additional CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
