The Senior Leadership Team at SWCA projects continued significant annual growth for the next several years. This trajectory requires the addition of a Senior People Data Specialist to compile, analyze, visualize, and interpret people-related data. This critical position will help inform analyses of business patterns and trends and answer important workforce questions using timely and accurate data. This full-time, hourly position will report to the Senior People Data Analyst on the Total Rewards & People Analytics team.

What You Will Accomplish
SWCA is looking for a Senior People Data Specialist to join our Total Rewards & People Analytics function within our HR Team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for data analysis and an interest in environmental sustainability and consulting. The People Data Analyst will support the HR team in analyzing and interpreting people-related data, assisting in making data-driven decisions that influence our workforce and company culture.
- Assist in compiling, analyzing, and visualizing people-related data to support business decisions.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools for creating reports and answering HR-related queries.
- Help in gathering data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in analyzing trends related to workforce management such as recruitment, turnover, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Assist in creating data visualizations and summaries to communicate insights effectively.
- Contribute to market research for benchmarking purposes and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
- Support data quality and integrity efforts, adhering to data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with HRIS and ERP system managers to improve data collection methods.
- Assist in survey development for collecting relevant people data.
- Support moderate complexity HR technology projects under supervision.
Experience And Qualifications For Success
- 2 years of professional experience in HR analytics, business analytics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of data visualization principles and relational data models.
- Experience extracting data from an HRIS is preferred, previous Dayforce experience is a big plus
- Familiarity with Power Query, DAX, VBA, Vision, extracting data from an HRIS, or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with various levels of the organization.
- Interest in HR, environmental sustainability, and cultural awareness.

An employee in this Phoenix office position can expect a rate of $53,560/year - $78,975. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
