Crisis Center LPN/RN Nurse (Weekend Nights)

Job Overview

Join our compassionate team at Compass Health Network as a Nurse LPN/RN at our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, where you will provide essential direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care, including health and pain assessments, vital sign monitoring, and daily care for individuals at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
• Administer medications, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with protocols.
• Educate patients on physical health and medication management.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Document and report observable changes in patient behavior and physical condition.
• Assist in various diagnostic and treatment procedures, providing guidance to new employees on protocols.
• Actively participate in team and leadership meetings as assigned.
• Deliver direct patient care to adults, managing interactions with potentially agitated individuals.
• Be available for mandatory overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license in Missouri is required.
• A minimum of one year of psychiatric experience is essential, with preference given to candidates with hospital or acute care experience.
• An Associate’s degree in nursing is required, while a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
