Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care including health and pain assessments, vital signs monitoring, and daily care for patients at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
• Administer medications through various methods and manage medication records diligently.
• Educate patients and families regarding health and medication management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and services, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Monitor and document changes in patients’ behavior and physical conditions accurately.
• Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures while supporting new employees through educational initiatives.
• Engage in team meetings and be prepared to handle patient situations that may involve agitation or stress.

• Strong cognitive, organizational, and emotional skills to manage multiple tasks and stressors.

Qualifications

• Practical Nursing Certificate or an Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• A minimum of one year of psychiatric experience is ideal, with preference given to candidates with hospital or acute care experience.
• Valid licensure as an LPN or RN in Missouri is mandatory.
