Job Description:

As a Proposal Writer, you will play a key role in producing persuasive, high-quality proposals that demonstrate our expertise to both public and private sector clients. This role will require you to write compelling responses to bids, distilling complex information into clear and concise narratives that highlight HGS’s strengths. You will work closely with the Bid Manager and collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, legal, and operations to gather and organise the content necessary for bids. This requires you to manage multiple projects and deadlines, while ensuring that all submissions meet client requirements and reflect HGS’s governance standards. You will also research and incorporate industry trends and competitor insights into proposals to enhance their competitiveness. Your attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, will be key as you draft and edit bid responses. You will also contribute to maintaining a repository of standard responses and documentation to streamline future submissions. What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a proven track record in crafting winning proposals, ideally within the BPO or customer experience management sectors. You should be able to transform complex technical information into compelling and persuasive content, tailored to meet diverse client needs. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will be working with teams from various departments to gather input for bid submissions. Strong organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple deadlines, and you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical. You should also have a strong understanding of bid management processes, as well as current industry trends, to ensure our proposals remain competitive. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be comfortable presenting and defending bid content when necessary. Your proactive approach, adaptability, and commitment to producing high-quality work will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in writing compelling bid responses, ideally within the BPO or customer experience management industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of bid management processes and industry trends.
- Meticulous attention to detail, and proficient multi-tasker.
