Summary of Job Duties:
The Program Administrator works in conjunction with service line leadership to support the administrative needs of the Surgical Specialties Service Line. This position will be responsible for developing & maintaining clinic scheduling templates in Epic & coordinating schedule changes. The Program Administrator will be assigned various projects, will prepare & analyze reports, and will assist in coordinating the daily operations within the service line. Will be required to attend Epic training and pass required exams within one year of hire.

Responsibilities:
Develops & maintains clinic scheduling templates, decision trees, diagnosis matrices, and scheduling criteria for all providers in the service line.
Builds & updates templates directly in Epic as needed.
Works closely with IT to maintain accurate decision trees in Epic.
Manages clinic block processes
Provides technical and customer support for providers and access staff utilizing Epic scheduling templates.
Meets regularly with providers & access staff to review scheduling templates, making recommendations to optimize schedules and ensuring compliance with Access Committee guidelines
Monitors clinic schedules and works closely with clinic and appointment center access staff to ensure accurate and efficient use of provider time
Develops formal written documentation of policies & processes
Develops & designs reports. Collects, compiles & analyzes data from a variety of sources. Identifies outliers or variances. Develops & implements action plan to address outliers or variances
Maintains departmental organizational charts & distribution lists
Manages, consults and advises on projects or programs and provides general support as necessary. Responsible for the overall direction of assigned specialized projects
Cross trained to provide coverage on various administrative functions
Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned
