Position Responsibilities
Deltek has an exciting position in its Project and Portfolio Management business unit (PPM). The Product Sales Specialist for PPM Sales will be responsible for covering specific Commercial verticals. The Product Sales Specialist will handle both existing named customers as well as net new customers, with focus on selling the PPM Product Suite. The Product Sales Specialist will be measured on and responsible for license bookings required to achieve the plan and goals as set by Deltek. Collaboration with an extended team including sales development, sales engineering, product management, product marketing, pricing, field operations, field marketing, channel, legal and sales operations will be necessary to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable and well equipped to sell Deltek products and provide the customer with the best experience during the sales cycle. This position reports to the Manager, PPM Commercial Direct. This is a remote based position within the US.
Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Knowledge of key strategic markets like Aerospace & Defense, Energy & Utilities, Commercial Construction, Oil & Gas, EPC, etc is also a plus
- Knowledge of any of these strategic areas is also a plus: Scheduling, Project Risk Analysis; Earned Value Management; Project Cost Management; or Budgeting and Forecasting
- Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator required
- 6+ years successful sales experience
- Have a track record of exceeding quota more than 80% of your career with predictable performance
- Achieved a multi-million-dollar quota more than twice at the same company
- Predictability in forecasting to upper management.
- Experience in prospecting for net new business in a competitive market desired
- Experience building relationships at C Levels is essential
- Knowledge of Oracle P6, Safran, Microsoft Project a plus
Compensation Information
The U.S. On-Target-Earnings (OTE) for this position is $135000.00 - $168750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
