Job Description Summary
Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools by partnering with Operating Leaders in business management roles (e.g. GM of Business Unit, or Executive Lead of a Function). Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics. May also be roles that are part of Corporate or Business Unit Kaizen Promotion Offices (KPO).

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and Execute the Lean Transformation within manufacturing lines to achieve Operating goals using KPI-based performance management.
  • Coach and Collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions including Operators, Support Staff, and the Leadership Team to help progress our Lean Culture and drive Continuous Improvement
  • Be a Champion of Kaizen and Facilitate Kaizen Events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S and Single-Piece Flow.
  • Teach, Promote, and Practice the Systematic Approach to Lean @ GE and build Kaizen capability.
  • Participate in Daily Management process including daily management meetings, Genba walks and Kata coaching cycles.
  • Coach teams using the Kata process to drive daily Rapid Experiments and Problem Solving in a systematic way.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations and /or Training
