GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Manager, Program Vigilance Operations, will be the foundational owner of core Comprehensive Kidney Care Contracting (CKCC) program responsibilities in high externally visible role requiring strong executive presence, effective and pithy communication, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to lean into complex asks to support internal and external partners. The Manager will work on high priority IKC initiatives by collaborating with senior operating leaders of DaVita Integrated Kidney Care. The Manager will support key initiatives related to the development and operation of value-based care programs and work effectively across multiple functional areas to drive team efforts toward common goals. The Manager should demonstrate a proven ability to creatively problem solve and examine and translate data into meaningful business insights to support these programs. The Manager is responsible for navigating complex program rules to support operational decision-making. The Manager will be part of a team of highly motivated individuals with management consulting and project management experience and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Lead as a subject matter expert to address day-to-day Program Vigilance-related queries and work collaboratively with teammates to provide resolutions to leadership, workgroups, and field operators
  • Direct the build of repository and corresponding processes to support providing operators with clarity on programmatic rules.
  • Collaborate with team analysts to quarterback the distribution and communication process of CKCC payments to external stakeholders
  • Prepare and communicate on program-related educational materials, updates, and presentations for IKC field leaders, operations teams and external partners
  • Manage and track regular communications with IKC operations teams to ensure ongoing internal and external compliance needs are met
  • Supporting high accuracy and responsiveness for CKCC Compliance Actions and overall program oversight and participant management
  • Drive the preparation, organization, and socialization of data/results to convey targeted messages for each audience, and convey findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis
  • Lead organization and streamlining of Program Vigilance projects and workflows
  • Act as a liaison between different business lanes within DaVita departments to facilitate the collection and analysis of program administration parameters
  • Partner with operational, clinical, finance, compliance, and legal teams to proactively and reactively respond to partner priorities
  • Collaborate closely with team leadership to assist in evaluating, implementing and monitoring progress on key development opportunities
  • Participate in special projects outside of the day-to-day scope on responsibility
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training, as needed.
  • Knows, understands, and follows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures.
  • Travels up to 10% of the time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA / Masters in related field a plus
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within client services function, such as consulting, business development, customer success, and/or account management fields
  • Experience in Business and/or healthcare focus strongly preferred. Understanding of value-based care and/or shared risk partnerships a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet required, intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
  • Advanced critical thinking, strong work ethic, creative mindset, adept communication skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary/ Wage Range

$68,400.00 - $100,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
