Job description

Role: Senior Director EMEA Education Sales

Location: Remote UK

The Senior Director EMEA Education Sales (Europe Middle East and Africa) will be responsible for sales in Higher Education in the region, managing our commercial interests & revenue for Wiley’s academic book publishing. Responsibilities include managing relationships with channel partners, digital vendors, aggregators, and print distributors. Develop Wiley brand and presence across the region, maximizing revenue through existing channels and working to develop new business opportunities. Act as a leader across the region working across shared service and other Wiley businesses to maximize efficiencies of operations and develop synergies. This role will be responsible for delivering optimized GTM operational support and strategy that helps Wiley achieve its maximum revenue growth potential. This includes leading and designing new strategies and tactics in EMEA that can grow additional revenue streams. Develop insights and understanding of markets in the region to help develop publishing plans and product development.

  • Leadership of sales teams in the region.
  • Managing relationships with key channel partners and vendors.
  • Building Wiley presence and reputation in the region and within the industry. Developing business directly with HE institutions and libraries.
  • Business development into new market segments and new business models (digital, AI).
  • Understanding of customers and market.
