Role Brief:
Realizes the functional concept of solutions in a project by technical detailed solutions.
In addition to the above you will be responsible for the following:
- Designs and engineers the solution down to detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
- Defines the products, components and systems to be used and their concrete characteristics.
- Configures the components and systems of the solution according to the requirements.
- Develops detailed solutions for the integration to ensure the interaction of the individual elements as a functioning unit.
- Is responsible for the realization of the solution with the required functionality, prepares the design documentation.
- May minister the executing units (e.g. manufacturing, procurement, logistics).

Qualifications and person specification
Main Functions:
Infrastructure Architecture
Implement and test virtualization architectures for WPS3, ensuring efficient resource utilization, scalability and operation. Propose and implement adaptation to new requirements or solutions for customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automation, software and network specialists. Ensure the continuous improvement evolution and resilience of SCADA infraestructure. Stay updated on industry trends, security protocols, and emerging technologies for efficient operation, design and troubleshooting activities. Participate in HW/Platform design reviews to provide information on functional requirements.
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide to the Regions the L3 global technical support for hardware and virtual platform environments based on HyperV and VMware technologies. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, hardware components ,configurations and troubleshooting procedures. Identify the problems ( bugs, configuration failures or deficient documentation) detected in support activities about the site HW equipment, work on them following fleet support process. Lab and test environment management and maintenance.
The following skills are required, at least 5 to 10 years of experience performing similar duties.
- Strong virtualization knowledge VMware, HyperV, containers.
- Experience in HW and system administration in different operating systems, Windows Server, Linux etc.
- Strong Network knowledge.
- Capacity to isolate and troubleshot problems and elaborate resolution plans.
- Capacity to design and implement HW and Virtualized solutions.
- High English level is required, Spanish or Danish is a plus.
- Strong teamwork attitude.
- Proactive to start or push initiatives to continuously improve solutions.
