Inviting applications for the role of Improper Payment Prevention Specialist –Process Associate – English – Hybrid Budapest

The Commercial Shared Services (CSS) is a component of the Global Ops organization. At CSS we work on tasks that directly impact customers. We provide services to the company’s sales and service teams that enable them to attract and serve customers faster, with better quality. Within the CSS organization the team has been put in place to enable Customer facing employees to spend the maximum of their time with the Client and help them throughout the whole Customer lifecycle. From Customer onboarding (Customer Master), through Installed Base Management, preparation of price proposals and service contracts to various sales reporting, the team provides solutions for company’s businesses in various domains (fields).

Responsibilities

  • The Commercial Compliance Specialist’s responsibility is to ensure all high-risk payments (HRPs) are managed as per established processes and are in line with local and international regulations, codes of conduct, internal policies and procedures.
  • The operation seeks to prevent from approving payments not in line with the Code of Conduct and FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act).
  • Act as a business partner by applying combined legal and compliance judgment to proposed deals, relationships and other issues requiring review and attention.
  • Highlight and resolving improper payments concerns, segregation of duties questions, conflicts of interest
  • Follow and detail promptly all process related changes in the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Master local regulations, code of conduct, internal policies and procedures and act as a gatekeeper to raise red flags/violations to Legal & Compliance
  • Identify high risk transactions
  • Collect all required documentation and approvals based on the type of event sponsored by our client in agreed timelines
  • Ensure timely payment for business clients
  • Report high risk transactions towards local Authorities
  • Prepare and present periodic reports and dashboards for the leadership team
  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of French, min. C1
  • Ideally University or Colleague degree
  • Advanced level of the language of the supported region and English skills
  • Relevant working experience
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers
  • Solid critical thinking, ability to act as a gatekeeper
  • Ability to work with remote teams
  • Customer service attitude
  • Analytical mindset
  • Reporting skills
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one additional European language (other than Hungarian).
